Now study the emotive adjectives in the left column of the table in Part B and then complete the right column with the missin g words. 3. Read the key points on page 12 and learn to express yourself by using the certain phrases. Step 2: interviewing the City Development Council 1. Discuss the six questions in the left column of the table. 2. Work in pairs to conduct an interview. Skills building 3: writing an essay 1. Read the guidelines at the top of page 13. 2. Group work: write an outline of an essay. Step 3: writing for the competition 1. Read the instructions in Step 3 and then you are going to write an essay on the development of your town for the writing competition with the information you gathered in Step1 and 2. 2.
